    Charlie Buxton

    Head of Investment Consulting, International at Progeny

    Charlie joined Progeny in June 2024, having previously been Head of Investment Management for The Fry Group, which was acquired by Progeny. There, he had helped to set up the Managed Portfolio Service and was responsible for asset allocation and fund selection, managing model portfolios across a range of strategies and currencies.

    Based in Progeny’s Hong Kong office, Charlie is now the Head of Investment Consulting, International. With over 13 years of investment experience, he works closely with international Financial Planners and their clients, communicating Progeny’s investment process and portfolio management strategies. He also serves on several investment committees.

    Investment Director of Quilter Cheviot International Limited

    Oliver has over 12 years’ experience in the investment management industry and joined Quilter Cheviot in 2017. Oliver is responsible for managing discretionary portfolios on behalf of private clients, trust, charities and institutional clients that are based in Jersey, the Middle-East, Switzerland and Isle of Man.

    In 2017 Oliver was named in the Citywire Wealth Manager Top 30 Under 30 list recognising the rising stars of the wealth management industry in the UK. He was previously the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Quilter Cheviot AIM Strategy before relocating to Jersey in 2021 from our London office.

    Oliver holds the CISI Diploma in Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) and is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (FCSI). Oliver has obtained the CISI Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ).

    Graham Griffiths is HSBC’s head of geopolitical risk and government engagement in MENAT and is an expert in Gulf and regional politics. Prior to joining HSBC, he spent several years with management consultancy McKinsey where he worked in the client service risk function, serving as an advisor to the firm’s partners on strategic risk issues facing the organization. Prior to that, he worked for Control Risks, a specialist risk consultancy, where he led the company’s MENA political risk team and was the firm’s principal Saudi Arabia analyst. His educational background is in economics, philosophy, and Middle East politics.
